I know I shouldn't be online.... But since my makeup exam is on Friday and I'm finishing up a paper due tomorrow (which is no big deal, I'm super fast at writing essays since I learn from essays more than exams)

But this has been bugging me and I really want to get it off my chest...... (Please do not get butthurt over my opinion over the ship and I'm not ship shamming anyone... I'm only curious )

But... Why do people ship Dom n Hater so much? I mean, I'm sure most of my watchers know its a big NOTP I'm not fond of, but I don't understand it....

For me, its REALLY not because I ship Myrna with Hater. Even if I never shipped Hater with Myrna, I still wouldn't like Dom n Hater.
I don't like it because it reminds me so much of a gender swap version of Joker and Harley Quinn and those shitty harem animes with abusive female characters manupilating the poor male character. I mean, to me, female on male abuse is a big turn off for me when it comes to shipping.

Like, I only see them being as enemies and nothing more. The fact Dominator looks so young while Hater looks like a relative and old enough to be her dad... That's beyond creepy for me. Yes, I know she's confirmed to not be a teen, but still ... Plus, she right up made fun of him and flat out rejected him where he felt upset. I mean, I know Dom is a villain but I think Hater deserves better.
(Then again, Hater doesn't have to be in a relationship to be happy. I know this is weird to hear an OC/Canon shipper say this, but Hater can be fine without a relationship. I mean he does have Peepers and the watchdogs... That's why I kind of like Deathglare more out of all the Hater shippings in the show)

And to be honest, I can tolerate Skeleton Dance more than Dom n Hater. I used to not care for Skeleton Dance, but now I'm neutral to it because Hater may have redemption to where he could befriend Wander.

But while this ship gets praised on tumblr, I just noticed something... Why do people always ship shame people who ship problematic pairings (mainly with an abusive male and female) but at the same time, they frigging ship female on male abuse pairings? I'm sure if Dominator and Hater swap genders, people would bash this pairing to no end and it wouldn't be liked as much.

Again, if you guys like Dom n Hater, don't feel bad for shipping them. I don't even hate people who ship them (as long as they're not canon nazis or fanbrats), its just the ship I don't like. These are my opinions on pairings after all, its okay to agree to disagree.


(BTW.... Do NOT frigging mention me or any of my status posts to your own. You know who are, I'm very tired of a certain watcher always mentioning me to their status post whenever I make a status post. Please stop, its really getting on my nerves )
