Just a little response to all the idiotic comments from this stamp.....
www.deviantart.com/art/Skeleto…

This is NOT an anti UT stamp, but just my way to vent out certain rabid haters of the game. I know its late and I have college/work tomorrow, but this thing has been bothering me for days and I need to let it out.

Yes, I may be an Undertale fan (But I do like the game soley more than just popularity) but honestly... The one thing that annoys me about the hatedom is how they judge people right off the bat for liking certain skelebros from the game. Even if you never played Undertale and love skeleton characters or skeletons in general, they're immediately accuse you right off the bat to be an Undertale fantard! Or even accuse you of being a rabid Sans, Papyrus, or W.D Gaster fangirl just because some people find skeleton character attractive.

Hey, rabid UT haters... Guess what? Undertale isn't the only thing that attracted people to like skeletons! The Gothic subculture along with holidays like Halloween ad Dias De Los Muertos were always big on skeletons! Even before other medias like video games, novels, movies, cartoons, ect, there were always people like me who had a huge love for skeletons! Shocking isn't it?!

Honestly, when I was little I'll admit, I used to be a bit scared of skeletons as a kid. (Blame my brother and cousins for pulling cruel pranks on me  ) But as I started getting into Halloween and watched a lot of cartoons, video games, ect... They honestly grew into me growing up.~ And of course, as a goth like myself, the Gothic Subculture was a bigger influence on me with skeletons, cemeteries, as well as the afterlife and culture between the living and the dead. I always adored the mystery and concept of a realm between the dead and living and I had read many dark tales, ghost stories, and even gothic horror novels that discuss these topics. That being said, I also have a Mexican heritage and their holiday Day of The Dead even sparked my interest with these concepts as well as skeletons. It's actually rather interesting, and even with art classes, I really enjoy drawing skulls as well as the skeleton anatomy a lot. They are inside of us after all and can have such beautiful structures.

"But Moonlight! Some people have fetishes with them and its super gross!!!" - Okay, I am going to come out with something. Now before you guys bitch and call me a sinner, just remember I only mean this as a FICTIONAL fetish and something I do NOT want to act in reality. I sort of have a Necrophilia fetish, and no I do not mean I want to actually fuck a corpse, but I was always attracted to a lot of fictional skeleton characters growing up as well as my love/appreciation for them from the things I mentioned above. The main reason why some people have the fetish is simply because many people like me always find so much beauty in darkness. It's sort of like being a xenophile, teratophile, and a furry (well, I'm kind of a mix of those three two... But that's another story...), not just for the sake of a fetish or an intense/sexual liking, but we just adore skeletons as well as how the media, holidays, and subcultures influence us. I find nothing wrong with necro lovers, as long as they don't get too carried away with it.

Besides those things, here are a list of skeleton characters I love besides the ones from UT. (The list is longer than this, but I'm only adding a few)

:skull: The Horned King (The Black Cauldron ) - One of the most scariest, badass, and evil Disney villains ever! Hell, he was probably the first skeleton that I first seen as a child. Such a badly under appreciated character from an obscure film, but his evil intentions were very interesting... Yes, I'll admit it. I was oddly attracted to him in a way and still am, and possibly one of the few characters that got me into skeletons growing up.

:skull: Sir Dan Fortesque ( MediEvil ) - Another childhood favorite of mine, but I sadly only got to see some of the game at my cousin's house. (Or I think my brother had rented it, I can't really remember ) I love the idea of a cartoony skeleton battling an army of undead in those old Middle Ages... I sadly can't remember much since I was very little when the game came out.

:skull: Grim (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy)- Anyone who grew up with this cartoon would understand why he is on my list XD He's just a very funny comedic satire of Mr. Death himself.

:skull: Skeletor (He-Man)- Very Cheesy show (tho I love him in the 2003 version better XD ) but Skeletor made a funny villain at the time.

:skull: Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas) - Yes, good old Jack. I'm aware Tim Burton has lots of skeleton characters, this is just one that's more known to others. Not much to explain since many people know him but he certainly brought Halloween Spirit

:skull: Skelanimals - Just some plushies I really love in my preteen years and I still find them adorable <3

:skull: Ghost Rider (Marvel Comics)- He's more of a skull head but omg, he was such a sexy badass. Sadly, the film didn't do much justice for him as other Marvel films. (I seriously hope Hollywood can remake it someday since their new Marvel films today made better imrpovements )

:skull: Achmed The Dead Terrorist (Jeff Duhnam )- Just a personal favorite puppet of mine from this comedian, I love those funny terrorist jokes :giggle:

:skull: Skelita (Monster High)- Though I'm not really into MH (I still need to look into it more, I was a bit hesitant at first because I thought it was too girly ^^;) but I do think the dolls look lovely, I did happen to see a short clip one one of the episodes. Yes, and I have to admit, I adore this monster out of all of them. She's so beautiful and she symbolizes The Day of The Dead <3

:skull: Lord Death (Soul Eater)- Even if he's more of an old shinigami who runs the academy in the anime, he was pretty funny and was a big badass in his younger days.

:skull: Skullboy (Ruby Gloom)- A very cute gothic cartoon and he just really reminds me of a younger version of Jack.

:skull: Lord Hater (Wander Over Yonder)- I shouldn't really explain this one since a lot of my friends and watchers know how much I adore this adorable dork so much <3 Since he's made by Craig McCracken, he's like a skeleton version of Mojo Jojo but only funnier and more expressive. Plus, I love how he's a metalhead ~ Yes guys, I still even like skellys before Hatey. However, Lord Hater did get me to loving skeleton characters even more ;p

:skull: Rahzar (TMNT 2012) - I don't know if this counts.... But he does have skeletal features in this version and looks like a hellhound. I wasn't much into Rhazar in the TMNT franchise, but omg Nick did an amazing job with their take on him. Not because of his remutation, but he was a pretty interesting villain and became one of my favorite footclan soldiers besides Bebop, Rocksteady, and Karai.

:skull: Xibalba and La Muerte (The Book of Life)- One of the best movie OTP ever and I love how both are based on the Gods of Dias de los Muertos

:skull: Lewis (Mystery Skulls): Yes, the video was overhyped but I cannot deny that Lewis was pretty cute and I felt bad for him and Vivi.

:skull: Lord Ainz (Overlord): I find it rare to see anime with skeleton characters... But a friend of mine told me about it so I had to check it out. Oh God, I may not be far but I do love it so far. Plus, Lord Ainz is probably one of the best anime protagonists I've ever seen so far <3

:skull: Itward (Fran Bow ) A charming friendly gothic skeleton from one of the most underrated indie horror games ever. This actually came out before UT and never seen much hype for it. The game is very gorey/fucked up as you get deeper, but its like a dark tale of Alice in Wonderland. I'm still trying to play it but I will say I adore Itward's character a lot, he's very sweet to Fran and he will try to help you out in the game.

See you guys, there's always been popularity with skeletons even before UT came out. And even if there are girls who do love the skelebros or W.D Gaster, then who cares? I find nothing wrong with people liking them, I'm even a fan of the three as well. (Though, W.D Gaster sort of sparks my interest more than the skelebros ~ ) I'm just happy we get to see more skeleton characters in medias again for once! Besides, seeing nothing but vampires, zombies, and werewolves in the media all the time gets so boring/overused!

So yeah, I did not make this for just UT fans, this is pretty much for all the necro lovers who longed love skeletons before the game.~:blackrose:

Is it just me, or am I the only one tired of rabid Udertale haters? Because they sure did inspire me to make this stamp <3

My favourite fictional skeleton is Sir Daniel Fortescue. Even though the stories told about him being the hero in battle before he died weren't true, he was brought back to life, basically given a second chance to stop Zarok and to prove himself worthy to the hall of heroes and he succeeded, he is the hero of Gallowmere.
